Fortuna Associates was appointed in May 2013 to carry out a diagnostic audit of income generation opportunities from advertising & sponsorship across a wide range of possible income streams, and to review and assess Coventry City Council’s current performance and contracts relating to income generation from advertising & sponsorship, including outdoor media, which was delivered in September 2013. This review and audit included:

Sponsorship of events and other opportunities

This review identified a significant possible uplift of revenues that could be generated from these areas subject to Council approval, advertisement and planning consents, and market requirements, demand values.
Subsequently Fortuna Associates was then re-appointed in December 2013 on a four year contract to deliver the outputs and outcomes identified in the phase one diagnostic review and audit and to be retained over the four year period of the contract as Coventry’s specialist, professional advisors with regard to all and any forms of income generation from advertising, sponsorship and any other areas where the Council sees fit to seek advice and support. Fortuna Associates is currently working in close partnership with officers at Coventry City Council to deliver new and enhanced income generation streams from the opportunities that have been identified and to offer further specialist, professional advice on additional, new and emerging opportunities as required.
